Happy anniversary, Radio Golden fans! On this show we celebrated surpassing the one-year mark, which we’re super excited about. We launched a year ago as an experiment … we wanted to see if a community podcast would work in Golden, how hard it would be to put together, and if it would be valuable to the community.
One year later: it does take some real effort, but it clearly worked, and we got so much positive feedback over the past twelve months (and kept being able to book such great guests) that we’re pretty sure we were doing something useful.
But change is afoot, as well. One of the Radio Golden crew, Jacob, just accepted a job in Washington, D.C. (working on climate change in the U.S. Senate), so he’ll be bowing out, and Pamela and Matt are going to take a break to decide what they’d like to do going forward.
So this show, Episode #23, marks our one-year celebration and a wrap-up (at least for now) of the podcast. When you listen to the show, you’ll hear the Radio Golden crew ruminating on what’s going well for Golden, what the community’s challenges are ahead, and what worked well and what we might do differently with Radio Golden going forward.
